After re-creating some film scores and uploading the results to YouTube, I started getting multiple requests for the MIDI files. I realised that often, they are hard to find, and I was enjoying the process of re-creating by ear, and had no other use for the MIDI tracks beyond that, so I uploaded them to Google Drive, and began sending the link to people when they requests. Then I just bumped the link into the video description so people would stop messaging to ask for them. At that point I realised there could be enough demand for a neat little site to host movie midi files on, and so I dug out Next.js once again and made Movie MIDI. Sadly, it's been on hold for a few months whilst I've been working on other stuff.
